Notice the complete lack of warriors in their roster. Why do you think that is?
Wow impressive ! Is the reign of Method over yet ?\r\rCan't wait to see G'hunn encounter on Mythic !
Notice the complete lack of warriors in their roster. Why do you think that is?\r\rBecause Warriors have no utility, if I had to guess. There's no Hunters either whom also share a similar problem.
Not surprising they avoided melee, the charm bubbles on top of the beams/blasts destroying fragments means keeping too much of anything near the boss is troublesome. But that means they managed getting people out with only one DK, though four Typhoons likely makes them trivial!\rVery heavy Sudden Onset stacking as well on the aff locks, which falls under the same category of burst damage on the many high priority adds. No surprise the kings of single target would be valuable on a priority switch fight.\rMax decided to take the blood DK, though the low gear compared to the brewmaster monk probably means he wasn't main tanking.
I like how Method wins almost every World First mythic race as of Mists, but i got this question. Why is is that EU guilds always get World Firsts and not NA, despite the fact the latter gets nearly all content earlier than the former?
I think the better question is when is an alliance guild gonna get a world first lol..
Man look at all the diversity and alliance in the mythic race

Why is is that EU guilds always get World Firsts and not NA, despite the fact the latter gets nearly all content earlier than the former?\r\rThere is a certain line of thinking that EU’s social systems allow for younger generations to live a life of gainful unemployment, thus allowing them more time to play the game.
It would be weird if an NA guild didn't get NA first.

Gz to them, but their rooster.... I genuine dislike the idea that so many classes can be sidelined... Would love for the next raid if Blizzard made it that it's required each class to have at least 1 dps spec, though of course that's not feasible... Honestly I would've liked to see a guild try and get mythic kills with raid setups that have specs like Ele shamans and Shadow Priests. That would be a lot more impressive for me than stacking the strongest for each particular encounter. That's not being skilled, but the opposite, trying your best to simplify the fight aka you lack skill.
Grats! 👍 👍\r\rAnyone who complaining about stacking classes etc... remember it's WORLD FIRST race, not your average pug / guild run for chilling out with friends. Once the race is over, there will be plenty of diversity in groups for weeks and months to come. When you are aiming for the first spot, you HAVE to use all the resources and tactics (legally) available.
Will North America be getting an NA first for this raid?\r\rIt would be a pretty big upset if they didn't.
It would be weird if an NA guild didn't get NA first.\r\rWowhead doesnt care. They count in absolute numbers and Limit (NA) has half day advantage in compare to EU, they dont count it. They write `WORLD FIRST` title on kills when EU didnt have even raid released. And even with in each topic lots of people say about correct relative computing, they just dont care.
5 Affliction warlocks with Sudden Onset were used\r\rlooks like nerfs to that trait incomign soon.

Yes, it would be nice if the race started at the same time for both regions and maybe with the popularity of this race, Blizzard will take note and adapt in the future. They were able to do this for the global launch.\r\rThere are pros and cons, yes Limit had a head start but as Ion said in the Q&A, the first version of Fetid was "mathematically impossible" so Limit could have feasibly wasted most of their head start time on an unkillable boss. With regards to the progression just on Mythrax, they were #2 to kill Zul but #1 to kill Mythrax so it's pretty clear they were faster at defeating this one boss (as opposed to an earlier start). EU will then have a ~5 hour advantage over NA in acquiring ilvl 370 loot from the World Boss when Warfronts will swap control earlier on EU servers.\r\rYou're right in that there are a lot of variables preventing this from being a totally even race between NA and EU but the general community refers to it as the "World First" race. If Blizzard were to treat this as an official esport, a lot of the discrepancies would probably be ironed out.
Good to see the race having a bit of bite to it. Battle Shout doesn't matter when only 3 DPS care about attack power to begin with, and they brought the one mage for Intellect. And for those complaining about timing issues, Method had 12 extra hours on Mythrax thanks to their rogue zerg strat, but they still haven't killed it. And we don't really know the guilds' relative usages of Vantus Runes, which could be decisive on who has what left for G'huun. There's a lot of back-and-forth advantages in a race like this, and it ain't over until it's over.
Notice the complete lack of warriors in their roster. Why do you think that is?\r\rsomeone seems to be salty about beeing bad at the game and blames his shortcommings on class :)\rand to answer your question, it's because limit is world 1st race guild, 1% dps diffrence, or one abbility can change the rooster dramatically, i pity you if you really think looking at class composition of such guild can be any indication of balance in game
5 afly ha-ha-ha, this is what you can call balance.

If Blizzard were to treat this as an official esport, a lot of the discrepancies would probably be ironed out.\r\rExactly they different :) When we talk about world's best guild (e.g. guild with most kills it's feels ok), but what's ur point about saying "some other sites show guild X as 1st" it's not an explanation about computing specific boss kill by absolute time, when participants started with half day difference. We dont talk about 1st guild or guilds at all, we talk about 1st boss kill (and 1st boss can be killed even not by a guild, but by random people/pugs/friends).\rI dont care who's first: EU or NA, Horde or Horde :), but computing should be correct. And phrase about "some1 else computes otherwise" is a joke ("prisoners", "do like others do and too afraid to do something else"). You are free to do separate lists for each region, you are free to write what exact time in days+hours+minutes it took by each team to kill the boss (i and not just me would like to see these numbers). Instead you just said that you put responsibility on other sites for content which is posted here
