Each warfront could be released in tandem with new raids. By the time the final one is released, we'll likely always have one active for our side in a given week. So two will always be available for Horde and two for Alliance. Of those, one will always be in the contribution phase while the other will be in the attack phase. But you'd think if Alliance are going to attack Ghostlands (or will it be Eversong?), Horde would retaliate and go after Azuremyst and Bloodmyst. Then with attacking Barrens and Azshara, you'd think Horde would retaliate by going after Redridge or Elwynn.Maybe Blizzard is intending to have BfA be largely focused on Alliance wins and the next expansion has Horde retaliating with their own wins. Or warfronts will be released in relation to PvP seasons which would make sense considering they share gear models although not colors.
I can totally understand all the negative reactions from other Horde players, but I think adding more meaningful Warfronts targets is a much better idea than limiting it to areas we've already been fighting over for a long time. Stromgarde has no personal connection for me or any of the characters I play, but Silvermoon, the Barrens/Mulgore, and Azshara certainly do! I don't play Blood Elves or Tauren very often but Eversong Woods and Mulgore are two of my favorite starting zones. Azshara is one of my least favorite starting zones and I couldn't care less what happens to Gallywix, but I do play a few Goblins who wouldn't put up with having their turf invaded. I would be a lot more invested in defending areas that mean something to me or my characters. It does seem one-sided to only add Horde targets, but there's no reason that additional Alliance targets couldn't be added in the future. This could be a great opportunity to update the Worgen/Forsaken conflict in Silverpine, for example. Bloodmyst Isle is another possibility since there's already a Blood Elf presence in the area - and if the Alliance are going to try to remove the last Horde capital in Eastern Kingdoms, it's only fitting that we would try to do the same on Kalimdor. I think adding a Dwarven target would be a good choice for the third area but I'm not sure where.
Doing a Warfront in Silvermoon is the only way I could see them updating the Blood Elf areas to be flyable. But the lack of Azuremyst/Bloodmyst Isle on the list makes me think they won't be doing that. You can't fly in Warfronts, so they don't HAVE to make them flyable, but that makes me think we won't get a bunch of rares like Arathi as a reward.
3 elf Holocausts and they're still around. About time we finish the job. Go on, Anduin, cleanse the land of their filth!
If the Alliance conquers Silvermoon, the second Alleria and the Void Elves come close to the Sunwell again, it becomes corrupted again, and Quel'Danas or even the city itself turn into a Void-infested stronghold.
The Alliance will not take Mulgore! Have we forgotten what they did at Camp Taurajo? Lok'tar Ogar! Also, it's interesting that the Alliance seems to be focusing on breaking through defenses to get to main Horde cities, whereas the Horde is...attacking Stromgarde... what? Sylvanas get it together. Put the Zandalari fleet to work!
It's always interesting to me to see, despite their claim of moral superiority, how often the Alliance uses words like "filth", "worthless", "beasts" and similar when talking about the Horde. (and that's from someone that plays both sides.)
i do hope they wil use this as excuse for rebuilting the whole city
Seems very one-sided. Why not replace Silvermoon with Exodar?
Inb4 Silvermoon warfront unlocks high elves allied race.Hope this is true alliance has been the ones to sit back and defend from horde attacks or retaliate.Be good to see alliance be the aggressor for once.
seems like a good reason for the horde to be forced to go back on their word about mana bombs and the use of the big gun in bilgewater. These kind of actions suggest the alliance want massive retaliation.
So the Horde gets slapped around in basically every Warfront? If the Alliance wins those every Horde capital is gone.
Yesss please, let's reduce Silvermoon to rubble <3
