why are these all horde zones?
Tasked with defending my silver moon? I dig it ! Very interesting indeed . Looking for rewards as the only plus is looking at it wrong . Have fun and relax .
These may all be Horde zones, however canonically the Horde may be able to successfully defend them :/ So don't worry yet, Horde players, because you may not lose these cities at all!Other then that, I'm very excited for the possibility of more Warfronts in the future!
I had forgotten getting a new warfront location could be a thing, this got me really hyped for it!
used the line on my german client, and it gives the lines properly back in correct german. So no way thats just a leftover of development. It's awesome to see that. Also, that the Alliance makes huge gains instead of the horde makes, sense, as the alliance is the logical more powerful faction. the horde usually had to use WMD to be an equal (Manabomb, Plaque), but not this time. Azerite is also available to both.
On a practical level, a warfront in Silvermoon might give them an acceptable development justification to finally integrate it into the rest of eastern kingdoms and/or make it flying accessible.A bit of two-birds-one-stone type project management.
Even if warfronts felt a bit so-so to me after a few runs, the area's rare mobs are exciting to farm since they drop mounts, pets and toys. I hope whenever a new warfront is added, that they will add more unused mount models like they did with the raptor and bat in Arathi. I'm mostly hoping for the "zul gurub tiger" without armor, an unused model since vanilla!
I'm curious whether they'll do balanced warfront offensives for each faction. So far, the alliance is on the offensive in three zones; Azshara (Assaulting Bilgewater harbor and putting pressure on Orgrimmar), Southern Barrens (Thunder Bluff), and Silvermoon. The horde has launched an offensive in one zone, Arathi. What 2 places would they strike next? Azuremist Isles (the Exodar) seems like one logical choice. But where else? Stranglethorn Vale maybe?
The Silvermoon one looks like a really good chance to integrate the zones into the Eastern Kingdoms. And don't worry Horde, maybe we don't even touch Silvermoon. I imagine something like the Alliance pushing the way into the Ghostlands, using the Night Elf camps in the zone, while the Horde prevents them from entering into Eversong Woods, so the river between the zones would become the "line in the sand" between the factions, AND it gives the perfect excuse for Blizzard to update both zones into modern era.The other one that is interesting is the Barrens one. ¿Retaliations from the Night Elves for asaulting their zones? I'm all in, and it would be kind of ironic to have the Taurens and Night Elves, friends for a long time, to fight each other.
Silvermoon, no... everything, less is that ... ARRGG... Void elves... >=(
Pretty sure Islands/Warfronts arent intended to replace Mythic+/Raids as a place to get higher ilvl gear.
As an Alliance player full of salt for the burning of Teldrassil, it still breaks my heart if Blood Elves are going to get kicked off Eastern Kingdoms too. I don't want any elves to loose their rightful lands :(
A Silvermoon warfront could mean Silvermoon will be revamped.
If they revamp the Blood Elf lands the way they revamp everything else, they better leave the current version in game for us to return to and enjoy, like old Teldrassil is... I'm sick of beautiful places getting destroyed and never fixed again.
