Oh nice
pretty disappointing really, we haven't even gotten a reset yet and were already nerfing the required AP for unlocking traits? sure you could have a few pieces of M0 gear that you haven't unlocked all your traits for yet, but to already nerf the requirements for the traits seems foolish to me.
I had Mythic Azerite gear with 0 traits unlocked, and most people were in the same state. I think this is a warranted change.

This change are golden! Can trade in my 310-325's with 340's - now they need to add more decent weapons \ud83d\ude0b
I'm perplexed by the level requirements for some of this gear. I have an ilvl 295 and a ilvl 300 Groggy Brawler's Chestplate. The Ilvl 295 2nd and 3rd tiers don't activate until 16 and 21. The ilvl 300 are all unlocked already at lvl 15...\r\rThe effects on the ilvl 300 are all slightly more powerful because of the 5ilvls. Why does the 295 require higher Azeroth levels?
Still too high also please do something about my ilvl 310 blues requiring lvl 20...
Still too high also please do something about my ilvl 310 blues requiring lvl 20...\r\rThis. By the time we'll be lvl 20, we'll have another piece... so stupid
The worst part was (still probably is) that since there are ZERO secondary stats on 3 gear slots with highest stats budget, if you can not access at least major traits then it's simply few extra numbers on your main stats. And you lose the traits until you farm more and more azerite to feed the bottomless well of AP grind.\r\rTaking away secondary stats in exchange for some "procs for few secs" traits is literally a downgrade, no matter how you look at it.
I think there is a scaling bug with world quest Azerite gear... every piece I've seen has trait requirements as if they are max level 325 gear, instead of min level 295 gear... makes them unuseable, compared to 280 quest gear AND 300+ dungeon gear...

I'm sitting at 17 levels in my necklace and 337 equipped, sure I'm bummed a few slots don't have all the traits atm but the way I look at it blizzard probably didn't design the system for people taking a week off or clearing M0s within the first week, doesn't the reset start the "AP knowledge levels" were they are going to decrease the amount of AP you will need to unlock traits? having the traits higher does make it feel more rewarding to be among the first to unlock your mythic azurite gear. Rewarding and possibly a little sleep deprived but still would have like to see them not having changed the lvls needed so soon.

It was stupid the old way, and the change is good. \r\rRemember the justification Blizzard gave for removing reforging? \r\r"We want to shorten the path from looting the item to you equipping the item." \r\rMaking it so you have to farm for days before even EQUIPPING it is completely contrary to their statement. It's fine if you have to farm for days \/ weeks \/ months before FULLY unlocking last power. Not for the first row though. Otherwise what you have is powerless stat stick. And who would feel excited about that...
Yeah, I agree but you also have to know the average player won't be racing to gear up and have traits. Rewarding and possibly a little sleep deprived but still would have like to see them not having changed the lvls needed so soon. Being capable of clearing mythic0 dungeon should be a reward on its own, whether you do it earlier or later, if you clear the dungeon, you should feel excitement about the loot you earnt from it. For some people mythic0 might be easy, for others it's a challenge. But it should feel rewarding nonetheless. It shouldn't be conditional "you should only feel clearing the dungeon is worth undertaking if you grinded your necklace ahead of the curve". \r\rYou still have other 3 rings to unlock if you want to show off your azerite grinding prowess. The max trait requirement wasn't nerfed.
they all needed to be reduced, not just these.

The max trait requirement wasn't nerfed.\r\rThat argument doesn't make sense, how many times do raiders kill a mythic boss or get a non-tier piece but can't wear it until they get the rest of their set bonus or swap around some gear. The way I look at it it's no different than if I got a mythic tier piece but couldn't use it because it would break my current 4pc bonus so I need to wait until I can get another piece, it can sit in my bag until I acquired the ability to fully unlock it.

Just scrap this whole failure of a system.
I wish.
