Just another stupid meme.
He managed to strike Genn only because he was helping Anduin right after knocking Saurfang out. Don't make him look more powerful than he is.Also it's stopped being funny (dunno when it really was tbh).
Its Zappyboi or Zappy boi, but definetly not Zekhan. If i see him as ingame character and his name will be Zekhan i will report that for a bug.
Hello. I hope this is ok to say, I think it needs to be mentioned. It's a little sad, but, people are following the desperate gimmick of a youtuber / internet fandom vs his actual name. his name is Zekhan. I'm not coming down on anyone, I get that memes are a thing unfortunately but that doesn't immediately excuse them or give them a free pass. A person should still do what's right and think for oneself. If I sound disgruntled, I'm actually accepting and respectful and most of the time indifferent, but if something begins leaking into the game because blizzard thinks that we all approve of something (like a meme or a silly name, for example), I need to at least do my part and speak up and try to say something that will either offer another viewpoint, shed some light or at least give my own opinion, to anyone who might be willing to be open. I've been playing for many years and so perhaps I want to continue to see quality. I'm hoping to remind that we, you, any community and individual don't have to agree or go along with what a few have tried to accomplish. I'd like to let Zekhan (through the writers I guess) earn / prove his place instead of people just assuming his place as a cheerful young boy and summing up his character with an awful name (that was probably originated or used for popularity and views). just because some things that gain some attention have a category (meme?) doesn't mean it's ok and doesn't really give it the right to exist, certainly not to the point where it affects the game (if that's even what's going to happen, I have no idea but certainly hope not). I really don't want memes in the game and if they are, I wonder why blizzard would allow that when it has the potential to alienate.Anyway, his name is Zekhan then, so show some respect, please. And realize you don't have to follow anything an article says or a awful idea someone excuses by calling it fandom or a youtuber who relies on gimmicks (that may have potential to harm the game if we don't keep it in check) for popularity. and I question the notion that those channels or groups are actually part of the community in reality, because they seem pretty selfish most of the time, not to mention desperate for something and quite often they speak only for themselves - which is fine except that's not really a helpful community member (or a community member at all). It's my hope that blizzard keeps a watchful and protective eye out and is aware that memes, podcasters, youtubers and whomever else is out there using world of warcraft as their bait, do not speak for everyone and not everyone agrees with what they say. I'd questions if they are even genuinely part of the community as they seem to attempt to use wow for their advantage, instead of coming from a place of warmth, compassion and friendship. I hope characters likes Zekhan are already fully realized by blizzard and not affected by what may be misinterpreted as a universal love of this silly name. Thank you for reading and please know I want people to be aware that they can think for themselves - so if they like the zap thing great, if they prefer to let his character develop naturally on his own, great, if neither or something else, great. I'm just mentioning this stuff so the game makers are aware that not everyone approves or goes along with what everyone else does, and doesn't want outside situations like this to affect the game. I'm also mentioning this stuff just to remind people that when something is said or written or pictured in a video or on a website, social media, etc, doesn't mean you have to immediately go along with it. that includes what I'm saying here, but please know I'm coming from a place of hoping to remind and enlighten to be aware that we can all think for ourselves, don't have to support what others say just because they say it, and we all want the best game it can be. Thanks again for reading, please have peace all and enjoy all your days.
Man those memes sucked!
I loved the cinematic. I have strong respect for characters like Saurfang. That said, isn't Zekhan the shaman who zaps Genn and then gets pounded by Anduin with Shalamayne, as cupofjoe said?
The next thing Sylvanas should burn is this comment section.
LEt's face it, he's only popular because FOR ONCE, Blizzard acknowledged Trolls even existed !Okay I'm a bit extreme here, but hey, for the most ancient "good" civilization of Azeroth, I feel they've always been downplayed somehow. A bit like the gnomes to be fair.Anyway, as someone who always thought Trolls were the coolest despite the almost racist / cartoonish treatment Blizzard has always been giving them, I'm happy at least one troll got to shine \o/
Finally our first Troll with major screen time, and the first real close up of one in these kind of full rendered Cinematic *I loves*Long Live Zekhan! May he return to give us more cool moments with Saurfang.Hope Saurfang mentors him after what ever Blizz has in store for Sylvanas Lichqueen...
Why? Nothing changes the fact that Teldrassil elfs were slaughtered without honor. Saurfang was right. The horde needs to reclaim the honor back
why was he named zappy boi? i still dont get it
I love Zappy boy, but I want to take a break from talking about him to point out the more or less hidden hilariousness of that news-meme"Druid Horde Unions still on strike: Sylvanas claims fake news"Should happen ingame tho... I mean even Baine was way too cool with that ^&*! imo, only "abandoning" Sylvanas at the end of the Battle for Lordaeron.Anyways, zappy Boy for, at the bare minimum, the new leader of the Trolls.
