Some time ago, I thought Sylvanas would be an interesting Horde Warchief. I also thought she'd be good for the Horde. I was only half right. She's interesting, to be sure, but more after the fashion of the Chinese curse meaning of "interesting". If Saurfang ascends to the position and Sylvanas goes off to do her own thing, that could good for the Horde - though maybe not the Forsaken, so much. Hard to say, but I look forward to finding out.I find I agree with TotalLamer on some things, primarily that the Night Elves are - and should remain - a strong, proud, and ancient race. They've endured ten centuries and more of adversity and should not be relegated to refugee status for long if at all. I very much hope to see them maintain their independence and self-sufficiency and establish a new home. With Alliance help, yes, but in control of their own destiny. Since Burning Crusade we've gotten quite a few tribes of elves to play with; it would really be great to see the Kaldorei return to some prominence.
Will she also wipe out the other world trees? Mt. Hyjal - look out.
I'll tell you the biggest plot hole of all. The darnassus forces that went to silithus that can't make it back in time. Why the hell not? did they forget to bring a mage to port them to darnassus?can't even argue that mage ports are just a game mechanic and not story one, cause they have been used in story countless time. Hell, mages created portal from stormwind to alternate universe draenor to ship supplies into your garrison. You think a mage can't open a portal for an army from silithus to darnassus. The entire plot of falls apart for me there, well before all other stuff happened. If they used a portal and got forces back, they could have halted the attack before it even reached tree. but no, for sake of story, they forgot to bring a mage.
I really think that leaving this out of the game is not an error or someone doing his work poorly i really thinks this is like a "dlc" and you should pay for the Collector´s edition to have early access to it
The Horde's true face is laid bare. No more excuses, no more pretexts. But the Lich Queen will probably get off without consequences again because banshee booty sells. She's been doing this crap from the start, only being a lot less subtle about it now.
I agree with your summation. The alliance and horde should end for gameplay reasons and this story is the beginning of the path. I'm excited to see where to story goes and hopeful an end to A v h and see group content have one less barrier removed!
I feel that, starting with Legion, they’re really focused on taking a sledgehammer to the old WoW order. I never would’ve guessed that Legion would’ve had the Titans in it or would’ve put a cork in it for the stories of Illidan and Sargeras, but here we are. Likewise, it seems like the “Horde vs Alliance” expansion will finish with the end of Horde and Alliance as separate entities. With the Lich King still around, with the Shadowlands and Emerald Dream largely unexplored and unexplained, with Bwonsamdi becoming a significant figure, the forces of Life vs Death might be the major theme going forward
Wait, Kajamite and Azerite are the same thing?
I heard the third factions coming with High Elves...Seriously though, they can portal refugees directly to stormwind, but don't think to send any reinforcements through? Nah mate, we'll all go by boat this time... Just another example of how this scenario has been poorly written and played out in game.
Tbh, who thought that building a GIANT CITY ON TOP OF A GIANT TREE WITH NO EMERGENCY FIRE EXITS IN CASE OF SOME WARCHIEF BURNING IT TO ASHES was a good idea? Huh? You should really blame the architect of that place, not the Horde...
