This is the best iteration of Fury since Mists of Pandaria. I truly feel like a Berserker now and I'm having a lot of fun with it.\r\rHopefully it won't get too annoying however with low stats at 120.
While I'm still salty about how Enraged Regeneration works compared to what it used to be in WoD, it's quite an adjustment especially macro-wise to relearn some of the abilities such as Recklessness, Battle Shout and Rallying Cry, I miss using Avatar. I used the hell out of that during Legion as maximizing Heroism\/Bloodlust. I'll have to figure out how to incorporate Victory Rush into my rotation as that's definitely an Arms thing. For Arms, Victory Rush was a must while either Bloodthirst+Bloodcraze and Enraged Regeneration worked well for Fury, most especially towards the end of Legion.\r\rI don't know, at the end of the day, I feel that what worked great for Fury in Legion should've stayed intact for BfA. Basically, don't fix what's not broke. It would be nice if Unstoppable and Bloodcraze could've been passive talents or even passive spells similar to Unshackled Fury for Enrages.
I have zero experience in the PTR, but i heard about these changes and it looked good.\r\rNow i'm testing it and i guarantee it's fast, it's so much fun, and if the numbers are there, Fury Warrior might become my new main.\r\rThe fluidity in normal gameplay instead of just waiting\/stacking CDs is just a blessing.
What I need to know, especially for leveling come BfA, is how squishy are they going to be? Bloodthirst can only heal so much and as a plate wearer I shouldn't be dying to every second or third mob I encounter (looking at you early Legion in Azuna...)

You can use Bloodthirst quite often and it heals a substantial amount, and if it goes south, you can just use Enraged Regeneration for that situation. You also have Victory Rush that you can use with each kill, so survivability and squishiness is not an issue.
Will there be other roles covered after this as well? Would like to see the states of some of the tanks now that most magic mitigation has been removed.
Fury is great right now. The execute cooldown and the removal of furious slash were great things for the spec.

The healing from furious charge is huge, and you just heroic leap + charge back in to keep it up.
Feels weird but it kinda feels like Arms and Fury has swapped places.Fury has consistent constant damage and pressure.Arms has big ups and downs in damage. Arms also is more of the "press all the cooldowns and truck something" style. Arms REALLY needs sweeping strikes off the GCD, it feels soooo bad to have to use a GCD for that. The big thing that really sticks in my craw is having Rallying Cry on the GCD. No reactive defensive should be on the GCD. You need to use Rallying Cry in a way that someone almost dies in order for it to actually have any effect, makes zero sense for it to be on the GCD.

I was very surprised by how much fun I'm having with the new Fury. In Legion, I was very skeptical of only having 2 things to spend rage on. Now we only have 1, yet the spec feels so much more fluid to me because Execute and Rampage can work together. I was also very hesitant about the new Execute design, but it feels good because it enables Rampage. It also still feels weird to me to not be reaching for perfect Enrage uptime, but that is playstyle difference I will get used to. It is better to have a flat proc chance, I think, than basing Enrage uptime on secondary stats. \r\rMy primary complaint for Fury is that I can end up with empty globals if I don't take Furious Slash. I don't think all melee specs necessarily need to GCD cap - Legion Assassination for example felt amazing to play - but the spec fantasy of fury does suggest GCD capping to me. All in all, I'm very happy with this spec and it is making Warrior a top contender for my primary alt in BFA.

I truly feel like a Berserker now and I'm having a lot of fun with it.\r\rHopefully it won't get too annoying however with low stats at 120.\r\r\rYou will slow down considerably till you get 350+ gear in BFA.\r\rThe extra secondaries you get from azerite trait procs is a major part of your total power and will be very important for boosting damage. For example in beta my crit goes from a paltry 18% up to 33% with all my crit procs running and this does not include the 20% crit from wreck.
For dungeons you can play reckless abandon to recude the prep for aoe burst, charge -> ww -> reck -> rampage -> bladestorm and you finish ur bladestorm faster than arms
I have a stupid question: "Secondary stat starvation at level 120 could slow down the spec immensely"\rWhat exactly is going on here? I still have my haste buff of lets say +30% that is not going to get any less once i hit level 120, or? How can it become slower then? (What am I missing?)
since always... each time you lvl up you get your stats nerfed... so you dont end up having 90% crit 100% haste etc etc....\rhere is an example: consider your total haste now to be 300 and this translated to 30%.\rnow think as you get 10 lvls up and your haste will be now with the ilvl gear you have on +10lvls around 900 and this will be translated to 90% haste....\rso to prevent that for each lvl you get your stats get nerfed. so example on 111 with 300 haste you will have lets say 27% haste and so on....
