Not good.\rIt's not a PvP-themed expansion, it's a Faction War-themed expansion.\r\rAlso, they've made lots of developments related to PvP - "exorting PvE players" Is the most idiotic perspective of the new Warmode tech so far.
extorting PVE players into toggling WarmodeMore like barely rewarding players for opening themselves up to ganking as they level :p Don't be surprised if it takes longer to level with warmode on...they haven't really done much development for PVPBesides freeing pvp-server locked characters, creating pvp bounties, improving templates with stat customization, not allowing to switch out of pvp outside of faction cities, bringing back glyph style talent pools, and separating large battlegrounds into their own queue.

If yes you've mainly spent more time testing the leveling experience than the PvP. Seems like you just want to shut down any valid criticism as nothing more than whining.

This is so Blizzard ...\r\rOn Legion: "Hey equip wont create so many differences anymore, bcs ilvl will be all that matters"\r... also we forget to tell you that you will not have ANY pvp talents at the start, so anyone who did at last one more BG will have advantage.\r... also we forget to mention that it will not be scaled on World PvP so get ready to met raiders with double, triple, or even quadruple stats than new players.\r\rOn BfA: "Ok, we admit that honor talents was fail ... and we want you to be equal from the start, so we give you PvP talents based on level ... instead of honor!"\r... also we forget to tell you that we create PvP azertite traits, so you maybe wont farm honor ... but also anyone who did at last one BG more than you will keep his advantage. -_-
I personally think the scaling is going to ruin WPvP to a certain degree. I don't mind fair fights, but you have to remember, this is an MMORPG. There is supposed to be some form of progression, not just through rating or honor levels, but while leveling, as well as through gear at max level.As it is currently, a lvl 110 can evenly compete with a lvl 120. This is kind of appalling. I don't think that should happen at all. The scaling they have for that should've been kept to the 5 level rule, (amongst all levels, not just 110-120) where you will be scaled as long as you're 5 levels in range. Anything above 5 levels will be a 10% power difference per level above 5.A lvl 110 vs a 115 will be able to fight equally, but a lvl 110 vs a 120 would be at a 50% disadvantage. As you level to 111, you'd be at a 40%, then 30%, so forth. As far as gear scaling goes, I'm not sure how I feel about it. I disliked Legion instanced PvP because of stat templates. I'll admit, stat templates were fine for Legion in terms of controlling power since we didn't have any efficient means of gearing through PvP, but with the new Conquest system in BfA, they should look into the possibilities of being less controlling for gear power. I like the news that we'll be able to keep our stats, but I don't see with the new system how we'll be able to necessarily pick our statsI'm more of a WPvPer. Always have been. It's just something that I found so very fun to me. The addition of bounty systems is awesome, but the new scaling is worrying. They seem to be leaving PvP progression only to honor levels and rating.

\r\rActually you're wrong. There is a lot of players (myself included) who enjoy world PvP and to see Blizzard put so much effort into it goes to show that they acknowledge this. Show me where Xalea says "Rated PvP" please. If Xalea had said rated PvP i'd probably have never made the post. World PvP falls under the category "PvP". You can't change the meaning of something to fit your narrative\r\r 2. Island Expeditions are not PvP, they are PvE with some enemy players, the main goal of them is a PvE Goal, think of AV with less interaction with enemy players. Again, no relevance to RATED PvP.\r\r\rAgain. Show me where Xalea specifies Rated PvP. \r\r\r3. Talent Overhaul? First off let me ask, did you ever play the transition from Cataclysm to MoP, that's what I would describe as a talent overhaul, going from a possible 41 talent points to spec into whatever you like, to a system of choosing 6 of 18 possible talents. You are describing being able to pick 4 talents (down from 6) from a pool of around 20-25 as an overhaul. Even with being able to take multiple talents that were previous mutually exclusive is hardly an overhaul.\r1. Yes i did play with the old talent system. I miss it deeply. :(\r2. Actually agree with you here. Overhaul may not be the right word? I'm not very bright you see...I'm a fish. However I do think this new "pooling" system is better but that could just be me? I'd like to see more talents introduced though. The system is far from perfect although its' better than the 3 line tier system.\r\r\r4. PvP Specific azerite talents. Yay more unpredictable RNG elements. I have no strong opinion either way on this as of yet, I just hope it will be balanced better than some artifact traits were. You had a lot of good points although I think you honed in on "Rated" PvP a little too much as that's not exactly what everyone wants. I do rated PvP to test my skill but that's not where i have the most fun.. It's the non rated PvP and the chaotic nature of world PvP that really lights my fire for PvP. And i know a lot of other players feel the same. Just because it's not rated doesn't mean it's not valid. It's part of the wow experience.
