6 parts... so it'll take 6 weeks to unlock?
Can't wait to drink the salty tears of those lazy #$%^s who whine about getting Exalted reps they should be getting anyways.
lol these ppl whining about these new allied race requirements but not nightfallen allied race requirements...
I wish Blizzard would up the requirements more, Exalted isn't enough - I'd prefer a solid month of grinding toward something, especially if it got all this carebears to unsub - whose idea of playing WoW is sitting next to their mailbox queuing for LFR to die until determination 5.If you're all &*!@#ing about Exalted for a 'single' rep... can you just unsub 'now' and save us the bother of your spam? Go play GW2 or something, I honestly think you'd all be happier playing a theme park MMO.
Ugh, if only they'd give us Zandalari sooner in the expansion, I seriously want to level one so I don't have to catch up mid-expac. But then again, who cares... I'm getting one to 120 and maining the eff out of it regardless.
It appears about half commenters in this thread suffer from a mild case of Stockholm syndrome. The issue is not the grind to Exalted, it is requirement itself. They're locking content that should be available at launch behind time wall. You don't promise piles of goods when you advertise your game and then make players wait weeks before they can actually have them. It is especially frustrating to players who were most excited about playing new allied races since now they can't enter new expansion with a fresh mag'har orc or dark iron dwarf. This all smells of materialism, encouraging players to pay for race change.
Seems pretty reasonable.Between needing Revered for unlocking flying eventually and the fact the War Campaign, I believe, will be a source of reputation toward these factions, I can't imagine a Broken Shore/early Suramar style situation where we wind up grinding rep for nothing until we unlock them. Seems to me like most of the requirements for the main unlockables in the expansion pull from the same pool - completing one achievement will get you a solid way into completing the other. It's not like you have to do X on top of Y; parts of X contribute to parts of Y.And let's be honest; they very well could have made the Mag'har orcs in particular require doing the Frostwolf storylines in WoD. Be glad they didn't.
If I recall correctly it was stated that allied races would be locked behind reputation. Their thinking was that you work and fight along side the faction you are trying to recruit while building trust between the factions and also come to understand how that faction functions. Besides, rep isn't hard to gain with all the World Quests that pop up daily.
I dont like rep grind either ... also i dont mind it so much, it will come with time ...What i just cant understand is: Why 7th Legion? I mean i understand that Alliance elite group of army will operate at hostile territory ... i also understand that this group can on this territory meet an unexpected allies ... what i dont get is why should Dark Irons even care about our reputation with some faction, that is not them? :DI mean when exactly any faction in wow sayd: "Hey dude, you are exalted with someone else, lets be friends ... here you can have our mount and tabard." :D//edit:And also ... 7th legion seems to me quite smug. :D"Hey dude, you are exalted with all cities of Alliance, also Northrend offencive, also Wildhammer clan, also Baradin Wardens, also Arathor, Silverwing and Stormpike, Also Honor Hold ... i also heard you are known as our faction champion on Argent Tournament ... you helped us to stop Lich King, Garosh, Gromash, Gul'dan, Kill'jaeden, and for the last time you stopped even Sargeras, wich could destroy whole world ... hmm ...But im not sure if i can trust you, or even like you ... so go out and kill for me 6 Zandalari trolls for every day, like 100 times ... but i will count you just that 6 for day, no matter how many others you kill ... then i will respect you and enable you to buy something from me."
So all those WoD reps I did turned out to be worthless once again. Can’t say I’m surprised. God forbid Blizz get people to do old content once in a while.
