so, the alliance didn't lose one single territory, not even ashenvale or darkshore, regained control of almost all the eastern kingdoms, and are attacking the horde on every direction close to orgrimmar, while the horde has nothing but retreating forzaken in the eastern kingdoms and not even the barrens or durotar, basic horde territories, are safe . Great job blizzard, really, not biased at all...
This article is ridiculously incorrect and I'm surprised Ian Bates (redshirtguy) opinion is being held with such weight - he is not a Blizzard representative and Wowhead shouldn't copy & paste his articles with poorly deciphered information.Ian is basing his theories on mission texts that don't say what he's implying. Regarding Tirisfal it does not mention any Alliance occupation - rather forces in Silverpine attempting to intercept the other. Currently in the aftermath of the BFA siege of Lordaeron the glades (Deathknell, Calston Estate etc) is still populated by Horde / Forsaken NPC's. It is weird go from that information to claiming Alliance control Tirisfal Glades when we know in the Stormwind breakout scenario that the invading Alliance army had returned to Stormwind. Blizzard emphasized that both capital regions were abandoned. Not occupied. That the fight for Lordaeron would be in the Arathi Highlands and Gilneas as both armies regroup to make a big push. The Alliance does not control the Plaguelands. He is making big assumptions that an army moving through the region - must - control it. They could be from Chillwind Camp, they might be moving through the East or West and there is no mention of Andorhal (Forsaken controlled) being taken by the Alliance either. That, and we know a neutral organization (Argent Crusade, elements of a neutral Silver Hand) occupy much of the Plaguelands themselves. The Alliance does not hold Stromgarde keep, in the warfront missions it changes hands numerous times between the Horde and Alliance respectfully.
This hurts to see. Can I just quit the Factions and join Khadgar and Magni?I like how the map looks, if only it was like that in-game. Makes the continent look more detailed.
GREY SHADES AND NUANCES people!
I wonder if Blizzard sometimes realize how absurdly unlikely their scenarios are.How can Crossroads be attacked when it's surrounded by Horde territory as far as eye can see, while night elves are cut off from Barrens from the north and Alliance's only stronghold in this area is on the other side of the fissure? How can anything get out of Bael Modan, when it was blown to smitherins in Cataclysm? Where does Alliance find forces to sneak into Durotar, when they're besidged at all sides? You can probably find a dozen more inconsistencies if you spend enough time looking. I would recommend not putting much weight to these texts, if any at all, as they've been purely flavourful since WoD and never provided any useful information.Another thing that is evident from that - we will have another eventful expansion pass behind our backs, out of our sight. Just like that "biggest Legion invasion" left almost no trace on the old world, what is effectively a World War will never be seen by players themselves. What joy.
Oh good. More Horde plague and warcrimes. There just wasn't enough of that was there.
From what I've seen on the after math of the siege of Lordaeron it is literally impossible to hold Tirisfal the state it is in.
yeah cool. but durnhold, andorhal, sludge fields (hillsbrad fields), tarren mill, and shadowfang keep are still horde's .
