First they remove class specific quests (warlock pet quests, shaman totem quests etc.). Now they introduce them again. Surely Blizz knows well how to waste the precious time on insignificant and useless stuff...

Oh that's good. That's very good indeed. Particularly since green fire is a warlock's most famous feature.
Can't wait! I'm glad I leveled up my Warlock to lvl 90! Knew it wouldn't be a bad choice! This actually me of the old days getting your Pets and mounts.
I'm the person whose warlock prefers the normal-colored fire, honestly. :) But I still would love to do the quest chain and I'm happy to see that the colors can be changed back after!

So for those wondering, it will be possible to toggle this option off after doing the quest; you aren't stuck with it forever.
This will be an amazing quest chain for warlocks! Much like the Bow that hunter's got way back in Vanilla. I hope that Blizzard puts more of these type quest chains into place.
Can't wait! :D
Just finished the quest. Not sure if it's bugged but the final battle with Kanrethad, I started taking down the pit lord after he summoned it and then he just stayed in one spot, never moved or casted anything. After taking the pit lord down, he still just stayed there motionless so I whittled him down. Completed and got my green fire.
Death by green fire!I don't know about other lock players out there but I'm so darn delighted that warlocks have a special quest chain back! I felt sad when their quest chains all got removed because, to me, completing a warlock quest chain was like a rite of passage for the class, mainly because when I started to play locks they had some great quest chains to complete, so it felt natural the class had them while others didn't (well not to the degree the locks had them.) Memories of Niby (& his chicken of death) still crack me up when I think about it and I hope this chain provides to be as entertaining. *squee*
Cool looking quest. I actually liked the old class quests for unique mounts (Lock, Pally, etc.), I felt it added to the flavour of the class. I was really excited to see how they were going to implement it. My excitement diminished somewhat when I was watching Lore's video and it dawned on me: I play affliction... have since late vanilla... Nothing (or nothing much, we will get Rain of Fire...) will change. I will likely do the quest chain anyways but would really appreciate it if there was some green (something) to the other one-third of Warlocks... No suggestions as of yet... (Malefic Grasp?)
So let me get this straight.Blizzard are adding a REQUIRED (no "but it now" option) long quest chain, mostly about the legion, which reuses and extends older areas and progresses the story simply for RPG purposes? Simply so you can go the whole "pestilence" lock route? ...... That's probably the most "faith in Blizzard" restoring thing I've heard in about 3 years :ONow give us back BS paths, repurpose some old stuff that's currently in the game but useless ie. druid books (read = +1 stat?) give us Lock and Paladin mount quests (more class quests in general). Add Archaeology quests to older dungeons like ZF and Blackrock and even to ZA and I'll buy a years subscription!
Green Metamorphosis...HOLY CRAP!
