I love that he said "boomkin" at the end :D
I like everything but the Tree of Life part >.< I'll miss being a tree :(Oh well... Cataclysm is gonna be so epic.
Right now Tree of Life is a requirement if you're going to do any serious dungeons/raids. My thing about the tree changes is the balancing. As long resto druids can still put out the same amount of healing in vanilla form that they put out in tree form now (after stat/gear re-balancing and talent reworking), then I'm fine with it. BUT...If you're going to make Tree of Life function as if it was some kind of glorified trinket (which is basically what it's adding up to), then make it just that, a BONUS. It should not a critical part of gameplay anymore. Having to budget my FIVE MINUTE shapeshift cooldown with a mere 45 second duration is going to get very, VERY annoying when I'm in the middle of a boss fight that doesn't let up and lasts 3-4 times longer than the shapeshift duration.Main Tank:"Where'd our heals go? We just lost half our DPS and the off tank!"Resto Druid: "Sorry guys, my tree form was on cooldown. I now officially suck at healing 85% of the time."
Druids will be balanced to heal effectively on normal caster form. The Tree will just be an oh shi- button that will give a high boost to healing when you use it.
We will have more expansion to deal with the more powerful threats to the world. Right now, with all the shattering of the world and the increased activity of Faceless ones and Naga during Cataclysm, I could see the next expansion being focused at the Great Sea, main antagonist being an Old God (or maybe the Three) with Aszhara as a very powerful servant of it/them.On an unrelated note, Sinestra have been confirmed to be the "horrifying secret" beneath the Bastion of Twilight.
Wow I am so excited about Archaeology!I need to look for a set of digging clothes for my Hunter. A spade, a hat, and overalls methinks.
