While you're busy leveling new characters or adjusting to your new spells, talents, and level squish, don't forget to go visit the new Rogue trainer in the Stormwind Cathedral! Reckful, twitch streamer, Esports champion, and pillar of the World of Warcraft community was
immortalized as an NPC
during the
Shadowlands
Beta, and has now appeared in the live game.
Reckful went under a few changes between the beta and live, moving to a new spot within the Cathedral, now holding weapons, and using some of the new new Death Knight style glowing eyes.
In July, thousands of players paid tribute by gathering in Grommash Hold and the Stormwind Cathedral, which was then chosen for the NPC's location. Although class trainers don't have any explicit function in the live game,
Reckful
does have some unique dialogue and responds to select emotes, such as /hug and /love.
In addition for being famous for his PvP exploits, Reckful was a twitch streamer, WarcraftMovie, Podcast, and Youtube creator, poker player, and game designer who impacted many other people's lives. If you have any favorite memories, please share them in the comments below!
