This combo is built around the trinket Carranca dos Naglfar
. This Trinket is obtained in the Legion dungeon Maw of Souls. Only usable by Ranged specializations!
The effect of the trinket is that you debuff an enemy with Mácula do Mar
. 30% of all damage you deal to other targets, will be dealt to the tainted one. Up to a solid 7.2k damage.
When you are hitting low level targets, you obtain a damage boost against them. Which means your auto shot will hit an NPC such as the gently squeezed toad for 30k. This will cause the Mácula do Mar
to instantly damage the tainted target for 7.2k!
Adding this massive damage boost, ontop of a Marksmanship hunter (who already has a lot of instant damage) will make the result really... deadly.
Thanks to the Azerite Trait 'Visão Infalível
', I will have a massive crit rate. If my combo of 2x Tiro Certo
, Chamas Ceifadoras
, Tiro Explosivo
all crit, along with the Naglfar trinket. My damage is around 23-24k. Even when I only have 15k health myself!
To feel the full potential of this combo, I have to get 3 different stealth items or effects. This will allow me to approach enemies, debuff them and also one shot them without them being able to see me.
Here are the most important macroes:
/use figurehead of the naglfar
/cast explosive shot
/cast feign death
This is simply to be able to debuff the enemy at the same time as you restealth
#showtooltip aimed shot
/cast gently squeezed toad
/cast aimed shot
First you spawn a toad ontop of yourself (to prepare for later) then you focus your main target. You will start casting Aimed Shot at the main target. Reason we use clear target is so you don't accidentally waste your auto shot on it, you need to save it for the toad.
#showtooltip reaping flames
/target belly toad
/cast !auto shot
/castsequence reset=5 reaping flames, precious bloodthorn loop
/cast reaping flames
Something really interesting here, is that !auto shot will fire an auto shot, while /startattack won't allow it. (Before the reaping flame happens) Seems like /startattack has a really tiny ramp up with ranged weapons.
The reason we have a castsequence is so you won't accidently have Precious Bloodthorn loop be casted before your Chamas Ceifadoras
(which will just lead to it instantly breaking), if you press the button before Tiro Certo
And you want to use it before Tiro Certo
finishes. Because Figurehead of the Naglfar will deal less damage if the damage is dealt after the other sources of damage... for some reason
