Today's Shadowlands Mount preview highlights the Purple Vulpin, a new fox mount in Shadowlands.

We do not know how to acquire all tints of the mount yet in
Shadowlands
, but it's very likely it's tied to the new zone of Ardenweald, associated with the
Night Fae Covenant
.
So far there is only one mount tint for this model. It looks similar to the Covenant ability

as well as the shop mount
Familiar Vulpino
--although the shop mount is more detailed with jewelry. In retrospect, the flavor text for the shop mount serves as a neat bit of foreshadowing for
Shadowlands
as this species is present in other realms besides Azeroth:
"A fiercely intelligent and curious species, these fox-like creatures have travelled the Great Dark Beyond and found their way to Azeroth. Drawn to Azeroth's champions, they seek adventure and companionship."
