13/2/2021 em 20:48
Earlier this week, 9.0.5 went up on the Shadowlands PTR with some class, system, and minor content changes. Here is a recap of all the major updates from the first 9.0.5 PTR build we've discovered over the past few days.
Blizzard released a short post on the
Patch 9.0.5 PTR
, announcing covenant tuning and the return of Valor Points. The patch is scheduled to go live in March 2021.
Blizzard has announced that Valor Points are returning to the game with Patch 9.0.5 to upgrade M+ gear to ilvl 220. However, items acquired before 9.0.5 cannot be upgraded.

There are some small quality-of-life improvements on the 9.0.5 PTR:

Class and Systems Changes
Besides Valor Points, 9.0.5 tweaks some classes, covenant abilities, and Shadowlands systems. On Twitter, Ion Hazzikostas acknowledged
raid gearing issues
as a problem to address in a future patch (before
announcing more loot dropping
in a hotfix coming this week), as well as the clarification that
Ve'nari Socket and Conduit Upgrade items
will be capped to Season 1.
There were also many class and covenant tuning changes on the 9.0.5 PTR, including reworks to the Necrolord Covenant abilities
: Form a shield of flesh and bone over 3 sec that absorbs damage equal to 40% of your maximum health for 2 min. While channeling, your damage taken is reduced by 30%. Passive: Moving near an enemy's corpse consumes their essence to reduce Fleshcraft's cooldown by 1 sec.
: Your damaging abilities have a chance to call forth a demon from the Theater of Pain for 25 sec. Throw Glaive deals lethal damage to the demon, which explodes on death, dealing (175% of Attack power) damage to nearby enemies and healing you for 25% of your maximum health. The explosion deals reduced damage beyond 5 targets.
: Brandish the Conqueror's Banner, granting 400 Mastery and 30% increased movement speed to you and your 2 nearest allies, and preventing movement speed from being reduced below 100%. Lasts 15 sec.
