𝐖𝐡𝐲 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐰𝐞 𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚 𝐂𝐡𝐨𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐫 𝐃𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞?
While this is only our second run, we feel this year is more important than the first given the state of our World and the fact that many people have been socially isolated for several months. World of Warcraft may be the only place some people get to experience any socialization currently. Humans are social creatures, and even though we may enjoy time to ourselves, it is important that we are able to get around with other people from time to time. Over the years, members in Carpé Diem noticed that a high number of players appeared to exhibit some anxious and depressive traits, many people used World of Warcraft as an escape from their ‘Real life’. We thought we should celebrate the power that World of Warcraft has for some us and help do our part to shine some light on the mental wellbeing of members of our community and hopefully raise some money to help support those that are there to support us when we need it.
Ultimately, this event is to celebrate the diversity of the community and more importantly that we are all in this together, whether you play casually to collect pets and mounts, you play to be Cutting Edge, or anywhere in between.

While the guild Carpé Diem is hosting and organizing many aspects of this drive, other guilds have put their hands up to assist on the night when and where they may be needed. Using the LFG tool within game, as well as Discord and Facebook, we will have raid groups created for both Horde and Alliance to sign up to and head to the starting point, so we can all see each other. Warlock summons will be available for both factions, especially to help our friends who may be a lower level.
