will be holding a charity stream on Sunday, July 12th, 2020, from 7:30pm EST - 12:30am EST, supporting the
Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network (RAINN)

BDGG has teamed up with

to host this event.

RAINN (Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network) is the nation's largest anti-sexual violence organization. RAINN created and operates the National Sexual Assault Hotline (800.656.HOPE, online.rainn.org y rainn.org/es) in partnership with more than 1,000 local sexual assault service providers across the country and operates the DoD Safe Helpline for the Department of Defense. RAINN also carries out programs to prevent sexual violence, help survivors, and ensure that perpetrators are brought to justice.
We asked BDGG to share a few words on why they set up this charity event:
Without trying to sensationalize it, we were inspired by the stories shared in the community recently. Sitting back and reading them were very eye opening, and our hope with this stream is to educate, and provide resources to the community. RAINN stood out to us because of their financial track record of consistently using the majority of their budget for programs. They created and solely operate the National Sexual Assault Hotline 800.656.HOPE, and just all around built a foundation of support for victims.
We don't want to come across the wrong way, we just want to take a stance against the way the gaming community has been for years. Our hope is this stream will provide enough to folks to learn something, and make a safer community for all.
