Se você deseja pegar a aparência escondida do Aluneth você precisa iniciar um evento seguindo os seguintes passos:

1º- Usar Polimorfia (qualquer uma das variações) nos seguintes mobs:
- Hipogrifo Escarpala encontrado em Azsuna
- Corcel Onírico Selvagem encontrado em Val'sharah
- Bode Altocume encontrado em Alta Montanha
- Bezerro Chifre-rúnico das Planícies encontrado em Trommheim
- Corça Lenhocórdis encontrada em Suramar

2º- Alcançar nível 6 de conhecimento do artefato.

3º- Entrar diariamente no Salão do Guardião até aparecer uma Ovelha Volátil que ficará te seguindo, clique nela (várias vezes) até que ela exploda.
Essa Ovelha tem uma chance diária de aparecer, caso ela não apareça, tente novamente no da seguinte. Pode levar dias, até semanas para que ela apareça... Tudo depende da sua sorte.

4º- Volte para Trommheim e procure pela "Ovelha Extremamente Volátil de Trommheim" (Ovelha Extremamente Volátil de Trommheim) nas proximidades da Mata Rúnica.
Ao encontra-la clique nela até que ela exploda.

5º- Vá para a Torre de Azora em Floresta de Elwynn
Acompanhe o diálogo, e se prepare para o combate.
Pegue o item Investida do Ovelhomante e use para aprender a nova aparência.

Ao usar Polimorfia seu cajado pode se transforma em uma ovelha que grita, esse efeito dura poucos segundos, e só acontecerá novamente depois de um bom tempo.

Aluneth, Greatstaff of the Magna is the Artifact for Arcane Mages.
This weapon was wielded by Aegwynn, one of the most awesome ladies of Warcraft, and the only female Guardian of Tirisfal. Aegwynn was one of the strongest spellcasters in our history, and she was the mother of Medivh.

Been looking into how the artifacts for mages work.

Aluneth grants you Poder de Aegwynn for 10 seconds.

It seems the arcane mage playstyle will become quite complex on the high end with this and talents like Runa de Poder, Erosão and Carregado.
You can use charged up for example to maintain the power of aegwynn buff while burning mana. meanwhile because you are burning you wanna use arcane power, rune of power and erosion to maximize damage output.
Another way of playing could be stacking all these short buffs and cooldowns and then use Ascendência de Aegwynn's evocation followed by Supernova for a humongous burst of damage.

Arcane is gonna be an interesting spec it seems at least. :P

Planning to look into other mage artifacts too :D

Sometimes when doing certain actions, such as casting spells, The Entity inside Aluneth will whisper to you. Apparently there are other artifact weapons that also whisper to you.

Below I'll try to add as many emotes as I can find as well as when they may play.

Neltharion's Lair

This might be when nearing the enchanting shop "Simply Enchanting" or simple when entering Dalaran.

Aluneth will empower itself when near an arcane source in the Broken Isles. It will grant you a buff of 2% increase in Arcane damage and the duration will progressively increase until it reaches 30m.

It triggered for example in Nar'thalas Academy in Azsuna. There are lots of Arcane torches there.
It doesn't trigger if you're standing near the Arcane fires of your Class Hall though, so I assume it only works in the outside regions.

If you reset your artifact weapon (the talents/traits) you DONT lose any artifact power except for the artifact power you pay for the reset!

Easily one of the more cool artifacts in the game, like the Shadow priest one this weapon is sentinent in a way and will talk. During a usual session of drinking arcane, Aluneth said to me "Together we can remake this world", filling me with renewed hope.

I love getting Overcharge from arcane sources throughout the broken isles. It's especially satisfying when players walk past and stop to see what i'm doing.

I feel so cool holding up my staff and letting Aluneth drink.

Upon defeating Mephistroth in the Cathedral of Eternal Night, an Image of Aegwynn appears. I had a good chuckle as Aluneth panicked and whispered me:

"She lives? No! I will never let her bind me again!"

"Ah.... merely a lingering echo of her power. Nothing to be concerned about, child"

In Battle for Azeroth and onward, if you transmog your staff into Aluneth he will continue to use his voice lines to communicate with you on certain triggers. Rejoice that you do not need to wish your friendly staff farewell just yet!

So for new players like me that have not strictly followed every expansion in the right order and want this item as an arcane mage, because, its arcane! --> If you don't have any NPC's from the quests listed here, make sure you have started the legion expansion from the hero board. Keep following the questline untill the quests take you to the starter quest for this item.

I also noticed there is a dalaran in northrend and one in the broken isles. These quests are in the dalaran in the broken isles version.
