All of the orcs can be found in the same positions as previously in the questline - the orcs have just swapped posts.

Dragon-Lord Neeralak is located in the cave on top of Dreadmaul Rock.

General Thorg'izog is located in the cave on the west side of the mountain.

High Warlock Xi'lun is located in the cave on the east side of the mountain.

I'd just like to point out that John J. Keeshan is a huge hinderance to stealth classes, he will follow you and aggro any mobs while you're stealthed not allowing you to restealth untill the said mobs have died.

This makes what could potentially be a perfect quest for a Rogue/Druid into a huge PITA.

Guide to Burning Steppes quests:

Optional breadcrumbs:

Do anytime before leaving to Chiselgrip:
Done Nothing Wrong

Keeshan is back with either:
Burning Vengeance if you did the Redridge chain or Burning Vengeance if you did not.

These three at once:
Stocking Up
A Future Project
Mud Hunter

Then:
The Sand, the Cider, and the Orb

These two at once: Warlocks Have the Neatest Stuff and Shadow Boxing

Then:
Return to Keeshan
Chiselgrip, the Heart of the Steppes

Enables these quests, which must be completed before General Thor'izog in the main chain:
Prove Yer Allegiance
Scrapped Golems (leads to Golem Training)

Main chain continues:
A Needle in a Hellhole
A Perfect Costume (4 versions) Read the quest carefully. What creature disguise do you need?
---> Orc (given to Humans and Dwarves): 2 Hides, 4 muds, 2 thread
---> Goblin (given to Gnomes): 1 hide, 3 mud, 4 thread
---> Troll (given to Night Elves): 3 Hides, 2 mud, 1 thread
---> Ogre (given to Draenei and Worgen): 4 Hide, 1 Mud, 3 thread

After handing this quest in I realised I still had the 'Blackrock Cudgel of Discipline" in my inventory.

Anyway either this is a bug, or if you also have it you may be able to use it to help clear those pesky guys all around.

The Cudgel doesn't seem to work outside of the quest it was given for. I tried it in this one and it did nothing.

The cave with Xi'lun was full of Necromancers fighting Flamekin. All of those were pretty easy kills, but they were everywhere, and the repop rate was off the charts. By the time we killed the three Flamekins (always three), the Necromancer either repopped or a new one came strolling along. Seriously, I sometimes had a pile of three or four necromancers to loot. Then my pet and the NPC bugged out on a ledge above Xi'lun after I jumped down to fight him. After I barely beat him alone, I could not get back to my pet and partner, and I couldn't logout or even exit the game because I was "in combat," which I wasn't. I finally had to just hard close the game and start again. And of course I was dead when I got back on.

Oh swoon, it is the one and only John J. Keeshan, who can survive explosions and dragon attacks.

General Thorg'izog crawled back into the Firegut Furnace, and Dragon-Lord Neeralak is cowering in the cave on the mountain's peak. Xi'lun is in the back of the Skull Warren, plotting with his fellow warlocks.

Leave your mark, <name>. Hunt down those sniveling Blackrocks, and teach them the might of Redridge!]
