Pristine Hide of the Beast is skinned off The Beast in UBRS.
Frayed Abomination Stitching drops off of various mobs in Stratholme.
Arcanite Bars can be transmuted.
Skin of Shadow is dropped off of various mobs in Scholomance.
The 50g comes from your pocket ;].

The stats on the Breastplate of Bloodthirst are basically pre-Molten Core, and good for non-raiders, especially with an enchant.

The only thing that's debatable is whether or not it's worth all the hours you'll put in collecting the mats, or the gold to aquire them.

This is the same chestpiece that Garona Halforcen wore. If you are interested in lore, the same as myself, there are 2 other items that make reference to Garona.

This quest is not counted in "Quests Completed" achievement series, because it's repeatable o_O

On the other hand, Breastplate of the Chromatic Flight and Legplates of the Chromatic Defier are both one-time quests, not repeatable.
Thus they DO count in "Quest Completed" achievement series.

I smell nostalgia just by looking at the materials list..

Gosh.. those were seriously good times.
(I remember the trouble of finding the Finkle's Skinner, putting the enhant on it, so I was able to skin The Beast)

This quest, along with Cap of the Scarlet Savant and Leggings of Arcana, became available to me after I turned in Finkle Einhorn, At Your Service!.

For some reason, this Quest and Quest Reward are not included in your Transmogging. Unfortunately sold it YEARS ago... :(

In order to create the Breastplate of Bloodthirst, you will be required to bring the following items back to Malyfous Darkhammer: 1 Pristine Hide of the Beast; 10 Frayed Abomination Stitchings; 5 Arcanite Bars; 5 Skin of Shadow.

You will also be required to pay 50 gold pieces for the crafting of the item.
