These bloods drops from near every mob so its east to get. I got all my 10 before the first boss :)

And holy do they ever load on the prizes in this quest. 13k experience, a very nice item bonus, plus almost 6 gold.

Its not that hard, even if its orange for you in the quest log you can still do it if you are a Frost Mage.
Alternatively you could perhaps do this with a Warlock too, but the easiest way is with a Frost Mage! ;) <3

If you don't wanna watch the video stream, I can explain:

Enter Blood Furnance.
Sheep one guard.
Frost bolt and kite the other one.
If he gets too close, Nova or use the Pet Nova (and DPS) to help you.
After you have killed one guard, exit to reset the other or kill him too if you got the mana for it.
Reset the dungeon and go again!

You might end up unable to enter again since you have reseted too many times, simply wait for 30-60 min and go again, you can do other quests meanwhile or go outside (like me) and finish it in the evening. ;)

Just solo'd it as a 63 protection warrior, thought I'd give you some tips.

First two guards do not have ranged attacks, but have attacks that stun(beat to the ground) for ~1second.
Range pull, run to the exit, charge, demo shout, thunderclap, shockwave.
Focus on one of them, devastate to 5 stacks(when procs use shield slam and revenge), concussion blow, shield block(after that shockwave, cb and sb on cd). Kill the first one, repeat on the second one.

Next pack consists of two melee and one ranged imp. This pack is tougher, because of the imps firebolts and enraging melee's.

Ranged pull, run to the exit so that none of the firebolts hit you. Charge the closest mob and intercept casting imp. Kill him as fast as you can, he has just a bit more than 4k hp. Use the strategy used above to kill the rest two.

Repeat two times, exit, reset and repeat.

P.S. use potions, elixirs, food and long cooldows like last stand and shield wall. For me it wasn't necessary. Was equipped with starting outland gear from quests and 5 heirloom items. (Leather shoulders from rogue ;) )

I actually managed to solo this as a L62 Shadow Priest in quest gear, couple of blues, rest greens here's how.

Firstly if you have the Glyph of Psychic Scream it's a huge help, as when feared, the mobs stand there trembling, rather than run away and pull more adds, so I'd recommend that investment first.

Ensuring that you stand near the entrance at all times, pull the first two Orcs. I managed to down these in one go, but was left with around 6% HP afterward, it's more sensible to kill one, and then run out the portal. Ensure you fear the mobs when they are fairly close to you, attack one using all DOTs and spells at your disposal and then leg it, heal up outside and then get back in, repeat for second mob, who'll now be alone. How fast they go down depends on your gear, so don't be afraid to DOT-kite if need be.

Engage second group of caster mobs + imp, same as before, burning down one mob, and then run out.

Repeat until whole area is clear, including two melee mobs at the foot of the stairs, but this time you'll probably have around 7/10 vials of blood.

Then simply reset, and repeat.

Not easy, but well worth it for the reward, and it sure beats those typical PuGs with the DK hero who chain pulls the entire room, dies, calls everyone a noob, then quits the group (that's all I ever seem to get anyhow).

If you're unable to see / receive this quest, make sure you've completed Dark Tidings, which is started by Ominous Letter that drops from Vazruden, the last boss in Hellfire Ramparts. It's pretty easy to miss...

That letter is disturbing, and not just because it comes from the Betrayer. We must know how they are creating these new fel orcs if we're to defeat them! It's bad enough that we must fight the Burning Legion on our eastern flank, but now a new army of fel orcs to the west!

You must infiltrate this Blood Furnace inside Hellfire Citadel. Bring back samples of blood from the fel orcs that you find in there.
