Make sure to read the Syndicate documents lying on the table in the middle of the little camp at Sofera's Naze. They will lead to the quest chains Encrypted Letter (http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=511) and Foreboding Plans (http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=510).

The Syndicates, a large organization of thieves and assassins, arose quite some time ago, soon after the fall of Alterac. At first they were barely noticed and not bothered with. That was, until the Magistrate of Southshore was assassinated. The new Magistrate is outraged and is recruiting trustworthy soldiers of the Alliance to slay some of their troops and more importantly, their thieves. Aid Southshore in their battle, and be rewarded.

Location Coords Confirmed. Quite easy to do for me as a level 36 Warlock. The papers are indeed well marked with a huge yellow "dot" and also they are marked on the minimap.

Location 46, 83 at Corahan's Dagger. Re-spawn fast and about 7-8 of them.

I was able to complete this quest (it was a little tough) as a level 33 Hunter as Beast Master. The characters re-spawn VERY fast. Plus, they have a large than usual area of sensitivity. They "spotted" me earlier than most other quest characters that were not elite.

Agreed. Even as a 36 Druid, this was tough for me: they respawn VERY quickly, they can spot Stealth, and they're quite close together, meaning they can run to friends within seconds of breaking away from you.

Pay particular attention to the paired patrollers who circle the camp.

Lol i just got this quest at level 39 (when it was green) and i killed them in 5 secs or something so the whole quest took me around 2 mins :) i am a pala so i just ran in and collected like 5 then consecration and they died fast lol

Respawn rate on these is kind of slow, definitely group up with anyone you see there. Had to clear the camp four times before I had enough footpads.

When I'm standing in Southshore, the coords above are showing up out in the ocean, using Tomtom addon.

I just finished this quest and I didn't get coords, but, the quest itself says the location of these Syndicates is NORTH of Tauren Mill. I had gone there about a week ago and there are Syndicates there, but not the ones you need for this quest. The ones you need for this quest are WEST of Tauren Mill, about due north of Southshore, on the plateau above the Yeti cave. It's also just southeast of the Stormguard Pike BGs enclosure. If you're heading north on the road to the Alterac Ruins, it's the plateau to the left, which access can be had just past the road into Tauren Mill. Hope this helps as I just happened to find it by accident while I was looking for the Yetis. :)

The respawn is terrible. I keep reading that it's "very fast" as I'm sitting at a cleared camp waiting and waiting...

I am the new magistrate of Southshore, recently assigned after the assassination of the previous magistrate. The assassins were never found, but through our investigations we're almost certain they were hired by the Syndicate - a group of thieves led by villainous nobles of the now fallen kingdom of Alterac.

The Syndicate has a camps in Sofera's Naze and Corahn's Dagger, north and west of the Horde-occupied Tarren Mill. Slay the Syndicate members you find in these camps.
