I am level 36, and Prospector Stormpike does not have this quest for me.

simply stay on the left side right after you enter the instance and you'll be fine

This one is tougher than it sounds. I just finished it as my lvl 43 hunter, with a lvl 43 cat pet (turtle or bear might be a better choice for this one).

The room is not "just on the left as you enter the instance." You have to fight your way through a lot of lvl 36/37 elites ... you do keep going left ... but it's a ways to travel. I died three times. There are quite a number of self-healing lvl 37 Elite Oracles to get by, and they generally have company. Make liberal use of combustion, freezing and frost traps ... it helps. Also use Viper Sting on the Oracles so you have the mana to keep healing your pet (if you have one) or yourself if you have the ability (sadly, Hunters do not ... you have 1 healing pot per "event"). And watch out for healing totems ... the Oracles put out a lot of them in addition to casting self-heal on themselves.

With a group this would be much easier ... you can be dealing with up to 4 mobs at a time. For this 43 Hunter it was a real challenge, and I've done a lot of crowded cave and dungeon work. Don't even think about soloing the sequel quest - I did - used eyes of the beast to check it out. ha hah ... bring some friends.

If you want to avoid those elites, you can actually jump up onto the ledge and make your way completely around the left as mentioned. If you fall off, hopefully it won't be next to one, but get to one of the urns in the corner, jump on it and onto the ledge. Once I got to the dirt room, I found a stealthed trogg at the entrance, so watch out for a few of those. The rest was fairly easy. Then just exit the same way you came in on the ledge (although I did have a little more difficulty staying on due to the change in angle). I was able to make the run on my lvl 55 shadow priest.

The dig site at Uldaman wasn't always overrun. We Ironforge dwarves used to control the area, but... that was before the troggs came. They came so fast and in such numbers that not even dwarven might could stop them!

In fact, their attack was so sudden that I fear some of our people may be trapped behind enemy lines.

My friend Baelog led a small band of dwarves deep within the site just before the troggs showed up. If he and his company live, then I want you to find them.
