So basically... BRM monks got rekt? :/ My most favourite spec Idk what exactly they doing to them in 7.25 But it smells bad Stagger amount now have cap Rip :( /cri
I like the fact they are looking at mistweaver! I'm not really shocked they are thinking of adding a cooldown seeing as most mistweavers i see spam it as if it's just like most raid heals. You almost never use it twice is a row! you want to give people that buff so your mastery hits more! following it with few Vivify's! weave your spells people, you're not called a mistspammer
This close to April 1st, I'm not believing a word that comes out of their feed. >:(
I hope they really intend to fix the fact energy feels worthless on a brewmaster and half the talents are bad (wtb back the days when rushing jade wind, summon celestial xuen / niuzao, chi wave etc. were worth picking).
@Sanket021No, just stop. Shut up.No complaining about something you don't know anything about.Just wait and *!@#ing see. For all you know they might be stronger after the changes then they were before. We don't need baseless crying over something that isn't even on PTR yet.You have the right to cry once you thouroughly tested out their changes on the PTR and you can give constructive feedback to them while you're at it.
You're right. Brewmasters are too good. Bears are fine tho.c:
EXACTLY. The AP grind continues...
The current idea is that the Stagger bar that the UI shows is the cap, which matches up with your health bar, since that'll be the most understandable and intuitive. Then, however much of a buff to max health is needed to make that balanced.Example, with 80% Stagger, 33% Armor for convenient numbers:HP: 100/100 ~ Stagger: 0/100Take a hit for 30, armor reduces that to 20, then stagger takes 16, and 4 goes through to HP.HP: 96/100 ~ Stagger: 16/100Time passes and 8 of the Stagger damage goes over into HP.HP: 88/100 ~ Stagger: 8/100Then you take a big hit for 60, armor reduces that to 40, then stagger takes 32, and 8 goes through to HP.HP: 80/100 ~ Stagger: 40/100You quickly Purify 50% of that.HP: 80/100 ~ Stagger: 20/100Then you take a *massive* hit for 210 (something cheesy), armor reduces that to 140. Stagger would take 112, but there's only room for 80 in your Stagger bar. So Stagger takes 80, and 60 goes through to HP.HP: 20/100 ~ Stagger: 100/100TL;DR: The Stagger bar on your UI is now representative of your maximum stagger pool, and any overflow damage continues on into your HP bar.Just to put my below comments into context i main MW and have done since the start of legion, im currently 8/10 mythic with multiple kills being Brewmaster as well. currently i have anywhere from 907 equipped - 910 equipped when i play and i have recieved a lot of 75%+ rankings including rank 1 damage for MW on star augur. Not to be a @#$% but as a mythic raider its already hard to justify why to take a Brewmaster over a Guardian druid as Guardian's just are the best tanks with no downside. Brewmasters are one of the most complex classes to play right now and making this change from the math displayed above means that we will start getting 1 shot by bosses like mythic Tichondrius. so far we dont really know how this will effect us but from first glance it looks awful. could take us from 2nd best tank to one of the worst but again we wont know till we can test but it doesnt look good. Additionally At the moment its hard to play as a mistweaver as while we received a defensive cd in 7.2 (which was amazing and very needed) we still have no raid utility, revival is only hitting for like 500k non crit which when dps have 3.8mil - 4.2mil hp and Bear's have 8mil hp isnt really a big deal. aside from that we have nothing to give the raid. we have no ability to reduce the damage people take our only cd we can give people is cacoon which when compared to sac, Ironbark, Guardian and even disc priest bubble its pretty bad. to go with no utility we also get out preformed hps wise by druids, paladins, holy priests and most of the time disc priests (depending on setup)
While i agree with pretty much everything you said if you take note of what i said above Disc's will out preform monks (Depending on setup) now by that i mean if a raid team has 2 boomys which isnt a bad setup then both of those giving innervate to the Disc priest is the best choice as they are able to consume the most and output the most amount of healing within innervates time period. if you don't have this setup and you have no boomy's and no innervates then yes a disc will fall behind a MW monk no argument but raid teams at my level only take disc priest if they have the right setup unless the disc priest is like 100%.This post was never to compare 1 healer to another it was just to point out that MW have little to no raid utility while still being low on the hps meters. i wouldnt mind having low raid utility if i was outhealing most classes but i don't. i also don't mind being bottom of the healing table if i have good raid utility like a resto shaman. Monk have neither top healing nor top utility. Holy priest, Holy paladins and resto druid have better utility and hps than MW monk. Shamans usually have lower hps but have way higher utility. Disc priests are odd, they fall massively behind on hps without innervate but if they get 1 or 2 they can easily top the table while maintaining a good raid utility with bubble and pain sup.
For healing priests:So after the nerf in discipline in the pre patch before legion (they took our beloved shield), that made all of us go holy, they are thinking about nerf the healing prayer! Oh God Pls blizzard dont do it. I should have made a resto druid like all said.
