Wow if they were supporting ecks pee this long then I'm quite glad to see 7 will most likely get the same treatment. I'm hopeful Windows will be great aga -- good. But I digress.
"Elemental will be fiery, and enhancement will be stormy."Does that mean that I'll need to max out my elemental artifact (Which I haven't touched with a 20 foot pole) to get my fire elemental, if that's the case, that's really really annoying, borderline criminal as an enhancement main.
Discontinuing support will always hurt people, but the company has to move on.
I've definitely noticed the increased drop chance on legendaries. I'm a very casual player, and only got one for my DH before I stopped playing in October. Since I started again at the end of January, 4 more of my toons have one, mostly just from doing occasional Emissary dailies when I feel like playing something different, and one from a random LFR boss and another from Nithogg. It may be complete nonsense, but it feels like the characters I've had at level 110 the longest got theirs the quickest.I kind of figured that the "bad luck prevention" that they have mentioned only applied to the first legendary you got (and all of mine were the worst possible ones going, except maybe the new healing trinket on my Druid). I'm glad to know that you still get a "significant" bonus on getting your second one too!
Been increasing legendary drop rate- been about a month now and I've yet to get a second on my main.. T_T
The legendary drop chance has been a joke from beginning. I still remember how other were obtaining legendare like presents while it took me 4 months to get one and final another 4 for the second. Now let's pray for the third somewhere around the end of the summer. While others have spare legendaries and like 5 + and so on.If you are a hard grinder completing everything out there and doing countless m+ you have like 110% chance for a drop.If you just play like me on a regular basis then you would rather do a quest of 4 weeks to obtain it rather then looking at your friends with good legendare doing extra dmg. That's how I see this happening, one thing I admit on my alt the drop rate was much faster, maybe because I did pvp like a maniac, Iidk. Also the way gear drops from raids it's a lot worse then it used to be I feel like in wow when at the end of expansion I finally got a shield upgrade. Now I thing it was a system bug but I finally got a useful trinket after all this time. The rest is same gear every time most lovely part is when you get items for a legendary slot while you waiting to upgrade those pants for weeks. Many of you won't agree with what I say but let's keep it simple. This is from a casual point of view as a player that doesn't raid in a guild where he can get items faster due to others that don't need and it's at the murcy of pug player for it. He doesn't spam m plus or gather his a traits to 55 plus. He just plays and enjoys at a slow normal rate while getting penalized.Probably sounds a bit off topic but it actually isn't. No one wants free and easy stuff but sometimes it feels like it's a bad joke.
I think is logical they will drop support for XP/Vista at this time but I hope they will keep supporting Direct3D 9 because Wine doesn't work with Direct3D 11 yet.
What about raising the chances of dropping a decent legendary rather than "useless" utility legendaries? I had the displeasure of dropping another useless legendary item (achor, the eternal hunger). I already have 4 useless legendaries in my DH (I accidentaly got one of them while trying to drop some stuff for my tanker build) and the legendary blindfold, totalizing 5 legendaries). Back then I was so frustrated with prydaz and the useless DH boots while not being able to raise my DPS such as other DHs with the bis ring and the bis belt that I was really considering on stop playing the game if I had dropped another useless legendary instead of something as useful as the blindfold, now I'm considering on quit playing the game again in case I spend another 1.5 months (the average interval between each legendary drop) only to drop the worst legendary I can get now (the useless DH bracer) rather than plenty of other useful legendaries. Damn, I'd even get sactisfied with sephuz. This is annoying, allow us to select at least 2 legendary items to ban them from the drop chances just like how we can ban 2 alliance-friendly BGs rather than adding new legendaries that manages to be worse than the worst legendary we can currently get for each class, this is waste of developer resources that could be directed at fixing the current legendary system. Allowing us to ban 2 legendaries we don't want to drop would solve most of the problems regarding the current legendary system.
About the Legendaries, I remember that I got 3 legendaries on 3 toons in same day, somewhat after the 7.1.5 patch, while doing the 20 WQ Event. Finished leveling and completing class hall of my 10th class, now leveling 11th, and I got 11 legendaries accross all 10 level 110. My main still has only 2, hell, 2-3 alts got their first legendaries before I got the first on my main, so I don't stay so bothered with all the system, happy in fact. Maybe if I sacrified the few time I played on my alts, while doing more content on my main I'd have 2-3 more on it, but I prefer to think on my account as a whole, and I get more rewarded that way (drop rare mounts on alts I leveled and stuff).About the computer OS, I understand some people love older Systems, but Blizz Has to move on, and not stay in archaic, Vanilla-like graphics and systems. They greatly improved their server-base and systems in WoD (I don't see much people pointing that), for example, the Tuesday maintenances used to last mostly around 8 hours, if not all the day, now they mostly have to Restart the servers, all around 1-2 hours, more than that only if there are serious bugs.If you play in a Desktop, it is easier to upgrade than a Laptop, like I do use one, 6-year old, but with Win 7. I had the carefulness to buy a system I wouldn't have to 'change' in a long time, that also serves for the Hardware. If you can manage, try and buy the top-most your can handle, economycally speaking. If not, try buying peace buy peace and mount a fresh but long-standing PC (if you don't know how to mount one, ask a friend, or friend of a friend). If you like Laptops, try to buy one with a good Graphics card, as those are harder to replace (if they are), than, lets say, memory sticks. Also, I would recommend not buying any computer with Win10, since Diablo III and HoTS won't work in it, although WoW does. Blizzard isn't supporting Win10 at its fullnest, yet, but if you have an original Win7, you can make a disk image+backup, and buy a new PC with win10, make a backup of that one too and replace it with your win7.You can still save some money during the year, and try to get a brand new PC in the Black Friday, for example, or Christmas, any date that the shops get larger discounts. It is a great feeling when you get a new PC, and feel playing wow in them more rewarding than the old one you had/got.
Please help! The World of Complaincraft is intensifying hard in this community as well. I hear stuff as "oh I can't play high-end cuz I don't have enough traits and/or legs to support me", then "I can't raid cuz i I don't have guild that wants me" and "my class sux so much everyone oneshots me boo-hoo" Then I'm like... AHHHHHHHHHH... makin me crazay.Yours truly, a warlock that pugs4life in the past 6 years and plays average 4h/day - Ik, Ik, it's more than most can but enough to have all AotCs since it exists but prestige lvl 1 kek (1 not 0!)
My PC is six years old and it was a cheap low-end back then. All Blizzard games still run fine and I don't even have to set my gfx to low. I expect it will be at least two more years before I need to get a new one. What problems some people here have I don't understand in the slightest.
It is very reliable and unique to use on Windows OS. It is compatible with any version of Windows Operating System but still, Windows 10 is the best to work with. For any tips and queries read the blog Windows Error 0x80071a90
